Formuler has released a new streaming device. Customers had to wait a while to get their hands on this latest 4K Android-based streaming player from Formuler, but it was worth it in the end. The all-new Formuler Z10 Pro Max is a remarkable Android-based IPTV set-top box with support for 4K AV1 decoding. Unlike competing TV set-top boxes, the Z10 Pro Max features a Realtek RTD 1319 chipset.

About the Realtek RTD1319 chipset

Chipset maker Realtek has introduced new chipsets with support for 4K AV1 decoding. In addition to the RTD1319 on-chip system, the Realtek RTD1311 chipset can also support AV1 decoding. One of the best features of the Realtek RTD1319 chipset is the support for HEVC 1080p encoder, all HDR standards, various output interfaces such as HDMI 1.2, USB 3.0, PCI-e and integrated far-field speech recognition. The RTD1319 has a number of TS interfaces suitable for receiving terrestrial, cable or satellite signals from external demodulators, providing a hybrid STB solution.

The Formuler Z10 pro max 4k Android TV Box features 4GB of DDR4 @2400MHz RAM and 32GB of eMMC memory. You can also add additional storage via USB RJ45 (NAS client) and Micro SD card to the media streamer. As for connectivity options, the Z10 Pro Max supports dual-band 802.11 ac 2×2 Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. The Formuler media streamer runs Android 10. This Android TV box comes with an HDMI cable, remote control extension, AC adapter, batteries, and a quick start guide for the GTV-IR1 Advanced Remote Control. The Z10 Pro Max also supports live digital TV via a USB tuner.

Like previous Formuler TV set-top boxes, the Z10 Pro Max has a state-of-the-art pre-installed TV platform. It lets you watch IPTV, supports picture-in-picture (PiP) on multiple screens, intelligent digital video recording, video on demand, advanced PVR recording and time-shifting. In addition to 4K 10-bit 60 fps AV1 decoding, the Z10 Pro Max supports 4K HDR, HDR10, HLG and 4K 10-bit 60 fps H.265. The device also supports Widevine L1, L3 DRM and OTA updates.
