The electronic cigarette is an alternative electronic device that simulates traditional tobacco cigarettes. It usually consists of a digital atomiser, a microprocessor like a CPU, and a tank or cartridge like a shell. Rather than tobacco, the user smokes vapour from a liquid propylene glycol solution. As such, utilising an e-cigarette is often described as “smoking” rather than smoking.


Vape has been around for quite some time but it gained popularity during the 2021’s as a new way to give the smoker another convenient way to get nicotine into their body without going outside. Vape liquid may be flavoured water or oil, but it is normally a mixture of propylene glycol (a by-product of petroleum), distilled vinegar, and sometimes other food colouring agents. Propylene glycol is similar to propylene glycol found in food-grade antifreeze. Drying times vary widely amongst manufacturers but most juices take about two hours to dry. When you breathe in vapour, you are not just inhaling smoke; your lungs are absorbing many of the toxic substances found in cigarette smoke. This can prove hazardous to your lungs. Over time, your lungs can become damaged due to the toxins absorbed into your body. Those who do not understand the dangers of vapour inhalation may cause an asthma attack or experience shortness of breath, which could eventually lead to death.

Even though Vape does not contain chemicals, there have been reports that it contains pesticides. This is why it is highly recommended to breathe vapour directly from the bottle instead of sucking it from the cotton. A vaporiser is better because it will not increase the number of pesticides in your lungs.


If you want to use Vape liquid to help you quit smoking cigarettes, it is highly recommended that you use a vaporiser instead of a vaporiser or a cigarette. While it will still produce some small amount of smoke in your mouth, it will be much easier for you to breathe. It is not necessary to ingest any of the pesticides and other nasty substances that you breathe when you use Vape liquid. If you do not like the taste of Vape liquid, you can always choose another type of liquid to use in an electronic cigarette.
